“We are thrilled to re-sign Sean Miller-Moore. He had a phenomenal season last year, and he’s only continuing to improve as a player,” said General Manager Shane James,. “He has worked tirelessly on improving his overall game during the offseason, and we believe he will continue to drive our success on the court and inspire fans off of it.”
Prior to his time with the Calgary Surge, Miller-Moore made his CEBL debut with the Guelph Nighthawks in 2022. He also represented the CEBL with the Brampton Honey Badgers at the Basketball Champions League Americas, where he appeared in six games and averaged 9.8 points per game. “There is unfinished business in Calgary. I am excited to contribute to the Calgary Surge’s winning culture, and play in front of the league’s best fans,” said Miller-Moore.
The six-foot-five guard from Brampton, Ontario is a graduate of Grand Canyon University in Arizona. Throughout his senior year, Miller-Moore averaged 7.2 points, 1.3 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game. He played 30 games and averaged 20.4 minutes per game.
