Saskatchewan Rattlers Announce Signing of Kenny Ejim

Brampton, Ont.-native ready to don the "Green & Wheat"

Saskatoon, Sask. (Feb. 20, 2020) - The Saskatchewan Rattlers , member club of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), are excited to announce the signing of Kenny Ejim to their roster. 

Ejim is currently playing for Zornotza Saskibaloi Taldea in Spain’s LEB Silver division. The Brampton, Ont.-native is averaging 12.9 PPG on 42.7 FG% and 5.7 REB currently. The 6’6” forward attended Humber College of the Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA). Ejim averaged 14.5 PPG on 67.2 FG% and 5.5 REB during his three years with the Humber College Hawks. In 2018/19, Ejim played his first professional season in Spain with Aquimisa Zamorano Innova Chef in LEB Silver. 

“We are delighted to have Kenny join the Rattlers for his first stint in the CEBL,” said Rattlers GM, Barry Rawlyk. “He brings great versatility at both ends of the floor, and will impact the game in that way. Kenny is a high-character guy and he will make a great positive impact on the court, in the locker room, and in the community.”

The Rattlers enter the 2020 season as the defending CEBL Champions. They will open the season away from home on May 8 when they take on the Fraser Valley Bandits. The Rattlers home opener will take place on May 14 against the Bandits, when they will celebrate the 2019 season by unveiling the first-ever CEBL Championship banner.
