2020 CEBL Summer Series Rattlers Standout Returns For 2021
Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rattlers , member club of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), are excited to announce the return of Canadian guard, Kemy Osse to their roster.
Osse, a Montreal, Que.-native returns to the Rattlers after spending the 2020 Summer Series with the team. Osse started all six games for the Rattlers and put up career highs in points, steals and three-point shooting percentage. During the summer series, Osse averaged 14.2 points, 2.3 assists and 5.0 rebounds while shooting a team-leading 47% from behind the arc. Osse finished the Summer Series ranked in the top two in points, assists, rebounds, minutes, steals and three-point percentage per game for the Rattlers. His impressive hit rate from three landed him third overall in the CEBL in 2020. This is Osse’s fourth professional season having spent the prior three seasons with the Windsor Express, Island Storm and the Saint John Riptide, all of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC). Over the course of his professional career, the 6-foot-1 guard has averaged 11.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists over the course of 103 professional games.
Osse was a standout member of Team Quebec at the 2009 Canada Games. Upon graduating Archibald Carroll High School in Washington, D.C., Osse proceeded to play four years with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock which is a NCAA Division 1 program; the Trojans play in the Sun Belt Conference. During his time with the Trojans, Osse averaged 6.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 17.5 minutes per game. Osse made history when the 12th ranked Trojans upset the 5th ranked University of Purdue Boilermakers in the first round of the 2016 March Madness tournament.

The CEBL is preparing for its third season in 2021 following the success of this past year's CEBL Summer Series in St. Catharines, Ont., which saw millions of viewers across Canada and around the world tune in starting July 25 to watch 26 games played over 15 days in a single-site league competition. The CEBL became the first professional sports league in Canada to return to play after the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus in mid-March shut down sports across the country.
