The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) and the Tidal League Podcast Network announced Thursday, June 10, a content partnership aimed at growing content on CEBL’s new OTT platform set to launch on June 14.

As part of the partnership, both organizations will work together to produce the “CEBL Life” podcast – a show aimed at spotlighting talented creators across Canada who are contributing to the exciting cultural movement of CEBL basketball, especially from off the court. The show will feature stories of talented artists, musicians, poets, community builders, DJs, fashion designer, athletes and other creators embedded in the world of Canadian basketball.

The partnership will also see “The Tidal League Podcast” become available on CEBL’s new OTT platform. This show shines light on the stars of the NBA and WNBA both on and off the court and gives them opportunities to share their thoughts on the game and more.

“As a Canadian company first and foremost, this partnership hits home in many ways. The CEBL is innovative and forward thinking in all approaches and for us to team up and create a platform for Canadian creatives in the sports and lifestyle sector is extremely exciting,” said Kurt Benson, CEO & Founder, Tidal League.

“We’re very excited to be partnering with Tidal League Podcast Network to help grow our content catalog,” said CEO & Commissioner, Mike Morreale. “The CEBL is not just Canadian basketball. It is an amalgamation of an extremely rich eco-system built by top pro athletes, creatives, musicians, artists, community leaders, executives and more. We look forward to shedding a stronger spotlight to this eco-system along with Tidal League”.
