The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Monday that it will partner with NowFantasy to launch CEBL Mobile in time for the 2022 regular season.

CEBL Mobile is an Android and iOS application that will bring the league’s OTT platform, CEBL+ , and much more to mobile devices internationally. Fans will be able to watch live games and have access to the league’s on-demand video content. It will also feature screen sharing enabling fans to cast and watch games on most devices and screens.

The app will also offer unique experiences based on a user’s favourite CEBL team. By downloading the app, fans will be able to get game updates, team news, statistics, purchase tickets and buy merchandise directly through the app.

This partnership builds on an existing relationship between the CEBL and NowFantasy. NowFantasy previously delivered CEBL Fantasy to fans during the 2021 playoffs, including Championship Weekend.

NowFantasy is a Canadian company with more than 10 years of experience in development, design, and media. It is dedicated to expanding the digital presence of sports properties by developing everything from fantasy games to mobile apps.

The CEBL begins its fourth season May 25. A league created by Canadians for Canadians, the CEBL has the highest percentage of Canadian players of any professional league in the country, with 75 percent of its current rosters being Canadians. Players bring experience from the NBA, NBA G League, top international leagues, the Canadian National team program, and top NCAA programs as well as U SPORTS. The only First Division Professional League Partner of Canada Basketball, the CEBL season runs from May through August.
