The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) in partnership with NowFantasy announced Thursday the launch of CEBL Mobile, the official app of Canada’s professional basketball league. CEBL Mobile is an Android and iOS application that brings the league’s OTT platform, CEBL+ , and much more to mobile devices internationally. Fans can watch live games and have access to the league’s on-demand video content. It will also feature screen sharing enabling fans to cast and watch games on most devices and screens.

The app also offers unique experiences based on a user’s favourite CEBL team. By downloading the app, fans will be able to get game updates, team news, statistics, purchase tickets and buy merchandise directly through the app.

“I am excited for the initial launch of CEBL Mobile,” said Mike Morreale, CEO & commissioner of the CEBL. “Its important we deliver CEBL content to our fans whenever and however they want access to it. I encourage everyone to download the app and follow their favourite CEBL players and teams”.

The CEBL begins its fourth season May 25. Tickets to all games are available now at CEBL.ca/tickets. All games will be streamed live internationally on the CEBL’s OTT platform, CEBL+ . Games will also be available to stream live in Canada via cbcsports.ca , the CBC Sports app for iOS and Android devices, and the free CBC Gem streaming service.

A league created by Canadians for Canadians, the CEBL has the highest percentage of Canadian players of any professional league in the country, with 71 percent of its current rosters being Canadians. Players bring experience from the NBA, NBA G League, top international leagues, the Canadian National team program, and top NCAA programs as well as U SPORTS. The only First Division Professional League Partner of Canada Basketball, the CEBL season runs from May through August.
