Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announce USS as Headlining Act of Championship Weekend

The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) has revealed that Toronto – based band, USS, will be the headlining act of Championship Weekend being held in Saskatoon, SK between August 22 - 25. The two-piece outfit will be performing live on Friday, 23rd August 2019 at the concert stage situated at the street festival on 21st Street E. USS is fresh off releasing their latest single, 'Big Life (26 Letters) ', to radio and across all digital platforms. Produced by Gavin Slate (James Barker Band, Tim Hicks), and Todd Clark (Lights, Banners), Big Life (26 Letters) was at the forefront of every audience sing-along on the band's recent Bonavista North American headline tour. Having played Canada, USA, France, Germany, Austria, and Japan on their last campaign, USS is looking forward to bringing their high energy live show to the CEBL Championship Weekend. The inaugural season of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) will conclude in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in a Championship Weekend Festival and Finals format. Over four days between August 22 – 25, the Province of Saskatchewan and the City of Saskatoon will host a league Gala Dinner and Awards, three-day Family Friendly Street Festival, Tailgate Parties, Major Concerts, and of course, the top four teams competing to be named Champions! Games to be held at SaskTel Centre, where the best of Canadian Basketball will showcase their skills and establish an annual sporting event not to be missed. The inaugural season of the CEBL is well into its latter half with just five more weeks of regular season action remaining. The Niagara River Lions (11-3) have taken a commanding lead in the standings followed by the Edmonton Stingers (9-4) who are on a four game winning streak and the Hamilton Honey Badgers (8-6) in third. Championship Weekend host team, the Saskatchewan Rattlers (6-7) are in fourth.
