MONTRÉAL, May 22, 2023 – The Montréal Alliance announced Monday the signing of Congolese player Eliel Nsoseme for the 2023 season of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). The 6-foot-9 center played four collegiate seasons with the Cincinnati Bearcats (2017-2019) and the Georgia State Panthers (2020-2022), averaging a combined 4.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 15.4 minutes per game.
Nsoseme had his two best collegiate seasons at Georgia State, averaging 11.6 points, 10.1 rebounds and 25.3 minutes played in 2020-21 and 8.9 points, 9.5 rebounds and 25.3 minutes played in 2021-22. The Congolese was named All-Sun Belt Third Team in 2021 and to the Sun Belt All-Tournament Team in both 2021 and 2022.
Nsoseme joins Kemy Ossé, Alain Louis, Elijah Ifejeh, Nathan Cayo and Elie Karojo, all of whom are returning for their second consecutive season, Quebecers Wilfried Balata, Mamadou Gueye, Biniam Ghebrekidan and Saydou Sall, U Sports draft picks Aryan Sharma and Bahaïde Haïdara, 2022 CEBL Second Team All-Star Ahmed Hill, and NBA G League players Blake Francis and Treveon Graham as the 15th member of the roster for the 2023 training camp, fueled by Gatorade.
