The Montréal Alliance announced Saturday that it has signed Canadian guard Devontè Bandoo. The team also announced the release of point guard Freddy Ibrahim.

Bandoo played the 2021 and 2022 CEBL seasons with the Saskatchewan Rattlers, earning the title of the organization’s Canadian Player of the Year in 2022. Bandoo led the CEBL in total three-pointers made (64) in 2022, shooting an impressive 43% from beyond the arc.

A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Bandoo played his collegiate basketball with the Baylor Bears from 2018 to 2020, where he was named the Big 12 Conference Sixth Man of the Year in 2020. He also played a key role in helping the Bears achieve a school-record 23-game winning streak, earning Baylor a No.1 national ranking for five consecutive weeks.
